Privacy Policy — Incased

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Incased ("the app") is a legal reference application operated by James Ridenour, sole proprietor, British Columbia, Canada.

Summary

Incased does not require an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email, or location. The only data processing connected to the app relates to your subscription purchase.

Information We Process

Subscription and purchase data. Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to validate purchases and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous randomly generated identifier and purchase/receipt information from Apple. This data is not linked to your identity by us and is not used to track you across apps or websites. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy for details.

Payment information. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.

Content delivery. The app retrieves its reference content from our servers. Standard technical information (such as IP address) is processed transiently by our hosting provider (Netlify) to deliver this content, as with any website, and is not used by us to identify you.

What We Don't Do

Data Retention

Anonymous subscription records are retained by RevenueCat as needed to maintain your subscription status. Content cached on your device (for offline use) remains on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.

Children

Incased is a professional reference tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected here.
